So, you’ve traveled and seen quite a bit of the world. Are you looking for a different traveling destination?
Maybe something different from the standard beach, party and festival combination? Do you want to be inspired with new travel destination ideas? In this article, I’ll be sharing some truly extraordinary holiday destinations.
1. Hitachi Seaside in Japan - Honestly, you need to see this in person to believe it is true. The stunning mixture of colours are actually flowers that are abundant on hills close to the sea. Depending on the season, you will see anything from blue nemophilias and zinnias, to the bright red summer cypress –also known as burning bush. This display of nature is truly spectacular. If you ever visit, the memory of this place will stay with you for the rest of your life.
2. Hang Son Doong, Vietnam - If you like cave explorations, check out world’s largest cave, Hang Son Doong Cave in Vietnam. This huge cavernous cave wasn’t discovered until 2009. And for good reason too. It’s well hidden inside the jungle and isn’t easy to access. And since the pictures were released, it has baffled people from all over the world who want to visit to confirm its sheer size. Though hard to find, tourists with knowledgeable guides can find it in the Quang Binh province.
3. Lavender Fields in Provence, France - Provence isn’t just popular for its spectacular beaches and breathtaking scenery, it is also popular for one of the most beautiful sights in the world –the Lavender Fields. These bright purple lavenders are truly spectacular in their beauty. To see this dream-like sight, you’ll need to visit the Plateau de Valensole and Plateau de Sault in Provence between June and August every year. The experience is truly unforgettable.
4. Blue Hole, Vanuatu - Think you have seen some pretty amazing crystal blue waters, right? You haven’t seen pure crystal blue until you have been the Blue Holes in Espiritu Santo Island in Vanuatu. Known as an island of hidden treasures, this island is home to so many truly beautiful sceneries. They are called blue holes because of the deep, crystalline, blue fresh waters there. The beauty of this entire area is dazzling. The blue holes are bordered by pristine forests, caves, white sand beaches and so much more.
5. The Tunnel of Love, Ukraine - This is not a tunnel per se. it’s more a rail line in Klevan near Kiev in Ukraine flanked on the sides by canopy trees that meet at the top forming an arch in the process and thus giving it the impression of being a tunnel –sort of. The best time to visit this place is during the spring when the trees and their leaves are in full bloom.
